Emily the secretary

Emily is really into playing "secretary" right now. She loves to get out her laptop and papers and pencils and pretend that she is writing stuff down off the computer. She also loves to play "McDonalds" where she will get her play cash register, take your food order and your money and bring you fake food. She is so cute!

Emily's First Movie

Emily went to the "big movies" (as she calls it) for the first time this past Tuesday. We saw Charlotte's Web. The newer one not the old one. She LOVED it. I could not believe that she sat down and watched the entire movie. I thought she would get bored because it was not a cartoon but she loved the talking animals. She had a great time and is asking to go again already.

Botanical Garden of the Ozarks

This place was really nice. We enjoyed it a lot. If you go before noon on Saturdays it is free. This was Emily's first botanical garden. She kept wanting to throw the expensive rocks in the ponds though. It was the only botanical garden I have been to that has chickens!

Branham July 4th Party 2008

As always it was very fun. The food was fantastic and the rain did not keep the guys from putting on a great fireworks show. Everyone had a good time.

Emily at Lowell Carnival

We had a great time although it was so muddy and dirty it really bothered the perfectionist in me. It was all worth it for Emily though she LOVES rides. She will go on anything, she has no fear. I love the determined look on her face while she is riding the motorcycle. She really took it seriously!

Valorie's Wedding!

We had a great time, although Emily did not feel like cooperating that day. I am sure most of you know she refused to pose for pictures and walk down the isle. She was a stubborn tom-boy flowergirl! She looked precious though. Congratulations Valorie and Scott. You guys looked soo cute! Sorry Valorie if there were no grapes left for anyone to eat at your reception, Emily kept sneaking them before the wedding and eventually ate them all! I love the picture of grandma and grandad. Her love for Jack is very apparent in the picture. They are such great role models.
