Branham Family Vacation - Myrtle Beach, SC

We had a great time. Emily really loves to travel. She was so comfortable and carefree on the trip. We thought an 18 hour car ride would be miserable for her but she had a blast. We think the trip was the happiest we have ever seen her. Ron and Terry went along too. Emily loved having nanna and papa there to show off to. I took over 200 pictures so it was really hard to decide what to put on the site. There are so many pictures that when you get to the bottom of the page you need to click on older posts to see all of them.

Miscellaneous Cute Shots Of Vacation

Playing on the Beach

Playing on the Beach

Emily LOVES the beach. She is still asking on a daily basis to go back. She was scared of the water at first but after a few minutes we could not keep her out of the water. She loved digging with her shovel and running back and forth between Brooks and I and Ron and Terry.

Monterey Bay Resort - Myrtle Beach, SC

The hotel we stayed at was great. The rooms were big,( separate kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom) they had several pools and a lazy river, breakfast every morning and of course it was on the beach. Emily was very comfortable there. We recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on Myrtle Beach.

Eating Out

We ate at some great restaurants. Im Memphis we ate at the famous Interstate BBQ. It was very good and I tried my first BBQ spaggetti. We ate at Captain Nance's in Calabash, NC. The fish was so fresh they bring it right to the back door on boats. I tried my first oysters. I did not like them but everything else was wonderful! We also ate at the Ghostship Buffet which was all you can eat seafood . We ate on a beach pier for lunch one day and had the best sandwich I ever tasted ( Kamini crab and shrimp ). Emily really enjoyed the pier!

Rides - Myrtle Beach,SC

Emily probably enjoyed riding the rides the most. She rode the carousel three times ( her first time was free because the man thought she was so cute) and she had to ride the cars. She was not scared at all to ride the car by herself.

Zoo - Myrtle Beach, SC

Emily loved the zoo. They gave us a big cup of food and she got to feed many of the animals by hand. It was a very large zoo and we all got pretty tired and dirty but it was fun. I think she liked the goats and horses the best though.

Riverboat - Myrtle Beach, SC

This was a first for all of us. Brooks' parents went along too. It was fun, but the boat moved so slow I am not sure if Emily even knew we were on a boat. She enjoyed dancing to some of the D.J.'s songs though.

Miniature Golf - Garden City, SC

This was Emily's first game of miniature golf. She loved it. We did not even show her how to do it, she picked it right up and is actually pretty good. She keeps asking when we get to play gold again.

Maze- Garden City,SC

This was harder than we thought it would be. It look us about an hour. The goal was to find the "cheese" and stamp your card then find your way out of the maze. Emily found the way out immediately but finding the cheese took a lot longer. She loved running around the maze!
